The Hairy Highland Coo Trail Education Programme

As part of The Hairy Highland Coo Trail we have an education programme where kids from local schools, nurseries and community groups will take part in the trail by painting their own wee coos.

All of the groups taking part came to a meeting run by Ben from Wild In Art where he explained all the do’s and don’ts when painting the coos as well as how to make the most of being a part of the programme. After the presentation all the representatives from each group collected their wee coo. Everyone now has their sculpture and we are starting to see some of their designs come in, they look amazing!

The education programme is an amazing opportunity for schools, nurseries and community groups to teach children of the importance of art and charity in the modern day, highlighted by the fact that all the groups taking part fundraised £250! Well done everyone!

All of these coos being painted have an important part to play in the trail as they are going to make up The Wee Coo Trail. There are going to be 24 wee coos that will be grouped together in groups of 4 and located at indoor locations in and around Perth City Centre, do you think that you can find them all?

Make sure to follow our socials for sneak peaks of the designs as well as all information on where these wee coos are going to be placed!
